The challenge: coordinate people, places and time

The airline ran training across more than 50 locations in the United States. Its existing system needed repeated manual intervention. Managers had to line up courses, instructors and trainees while keeping track of local resources.

The response: one place to manage training

Sartoris built a cloud-based scheduling and management system. Teams could book training appointments and resources. Instructors could manage their availability and work preferences.

Access followed each person’s responsibilities. Regional managers managed appointments and instructors at their locations. Instructors saw their own appointments. Global administrators managed users, resources and course approvals.

Nested pieces for global administrators, regional managers, and instructors. One gold thread marks a single path up.
1 global administrators, 2 regional managers, 3 instructors. Each person sees the work they are responsible for.

Built for the people running the program

Administrators could add training locations and courses as the program changed. The web interface supported desktop and mobile access, with tips and reminders to help people complete their tasks.

What changed

The airline gained a shared system for organizing training across locations. Scheduling, resource booking and approvals were brought into the same workflow.

This project manages the training program. The separate reservations simulator gives airport staff a place to practice passenger-management tasks.
